Remember this post about some Bauhaus swivel chairs at Pigeon Vintage? Well, I just found this seller on eBay in Germany who sells similar chairs for a lot less than £325. Nice!

Is it naughty of me to say that it reminds me of a school chair? The ones with coloured dots on the back. I think I just blasphemed, didn't I?! x
ReplyDeletenot at all. In fact, you've hit the nail on the head. In fact, I think you might be psychic - I have been looking at school chairs on eBay to use as dining chairs. I'm not kidding. Just yesterday, this swivel chair happened to come up in my search for 'vintage school chairs'. I don't think it's blasphemy! x

ReplyDeletethere are a lot of small ones around, but a surprising number of adult sized ones too, which is probably the better choice. It would be funny to see full-grown people sitting on the little ones we used to have at school!(In fact, I nearly bought a pair of kids' school chairs at our local junk shop a few months ago but since I am NOWHERE near wanting children I thought buying them would be a little bit too creepy/procrastinatory (is that the right word?!))
